Dr. Raj Dash is a board certified pathologist with fellowship training in Cytopathology and Clinical Informatics. He has an undergraduate degree in computer science and specializes in medical informatics, fine needle aspiration cytology and surgical pathology of breast cancer. He serves as the Director for Laboratory Informatics Strategy for Duke Health System, Medical Director of Duke Laboratory Information Systems, and Vice-Chair for IT in the Department of Pathology. Dr. Dash is active on a number of national and international healthcare IT committees, including serving as co-chair of the IHE Pathology and Lab Medicine domain and as a member of several technology and informatics committees for the College of American Pathologists.
