Becky has been with the CAP for ten years. As the Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Membership and Professional Development, she supports the VP, the CMPD, and other activities in her reporting unit. Before starting full time, she worked at the CAP as a temporary worker in the Public Affairs Department, Membership Marketing/Professional Development, and SNOMED Terminology Solutions.
Becky’s work history is aligned with her interests. As a travel manager with Smith, Bucklin, and Associates Travel Department, she worked onsite at three international conferences, enjoyed group travel planning, and learned about association management. At Cardinal Health, she coordinated medical education programs for a National Visiting Professor Program, and at the North Shore Barrington Association of Realtors®, she was a Membership/Education Administrator. She was a partner at Grand Dynamics, a real estate investment company, and assisted with marketing at Video One Productions, her husbands' video production company.
She graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor's degree in English and foreign language concentration in Spanish.
She enjoys walking, Jazzercise, travel, and spending time with friends and family.
